This was my last summer read of the year. I was sick and tired of summer romances when I came back to this book to finish it, so I did my best to take that into consideration while deciding on a rating for this book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna and Liam have to pretend to be in love and happily married while on a tropical island vacation with his family so he can inherit one-hundred million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I loved this book. Anna is a vivid, relatable character. The banter between her and Liam is witty and endearing. The setting is also incredibly vivid, I just got tired of the rich family drama. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was surprised when I checked Goodreads and saw that I had read three books this month. This month has felt long and arduous. Impossible. I can’t remember the last time I finished a book. I’ve started four different ones in the last week alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I’m grateful that I was able to read these three and that they were good! I wasn’t blown away or amazed by any of them, but they were comforting to read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
